Miranda Grogger
Hi! I’m Miranda.
I’m a 22-year-old multimedia journalist and marketing professional based in Bellingham and Bainbridge Island, WA. I graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Visual Journalism.

I love using different mediums to tell stories, especially in photography, radio and writing. I aim to work in live music, radio or for the PWHL, NHL or USHL. I have a passion for portrait photography. I love translating different aspects of my subject’s personality through my work. I’m experienced in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and Illustrator. I have worked on many projects including video production, photography, poster design and multimedia. I’ve also had stories published in The Front and Klipsun Magazine (where I won best medium-form story Winter '24!). I later became simultaneously editor-in-chief and multimedia editor of Klipsun magazine in spring 2025.

In my time at Western, I spent three years as a volunteer DJ at KUGS, the student-run radio station. At KUGS I discovered a deep joy in on-air DJing. I plan to continue working in volunteer radio at KZAX, another Bellingham station. My role as the KUGS-FM Marketing Coordinator has also exposed me to the world of marketing and social media, which are now passions of mine. I love helping to bridge connections between businesses and their community.

My years of experience as a caregiver have taught me an expert sense of patience, responsibility and compassion that have translated through every one of my work experiences.

I’m excited to continue to explore the world of multimedia journalism and marketing and learn a multitude of new skills.
